ski weekend

My husband and I are hitting Santa Fe for a ski weekend! We%26#39;d like to stay in close to the plaza, something under $200 per night (preferably under 150). But we don%26#39;t mind walking several blocks to get there. We won%26#39;t have a car, so something close to the shuttle that can take us up to the mountain to ski everyday. Basically we won%26#39;t be there for long and won%26#39;t have a car, so we%26#39;ll need shuttling and walking to eat/shop to be convenient for us. Suggestions?

Some of the local hotels have shuttles available to the ski area. Some that I have heard may have shuttles include... Bishops Lodge (not near the plaza), Ft Marcy Suites, Hotel Santa Fe

I have not seen a shuttle taking people from town to the ski area but we have not been driving up there until around 9am. Recently it was posted here that Roadrunner shuttle has transportation to the Ski area. 505-424-3367. I called the number and got sent to voice mail.

Getting around the city of Santa Fe is very easy. If you are staying near the Plaza you can walk most places. We have a nice city bus system that can take you all over town. If you want to see the museums up on Museum Hill take the ';M'; bus.

If you can rent a car it would make your trip to the ski area a bit easier.
