I%26#39;ll be in Albuquerque just for one day, a few questions I need some answers to:
1. Any recommendations on Hotels ($100 or less)either near the airport (with shuttle service) or in the Old town area that are clean, roach free ?
2. Restaurants in the Old Town area that are the best to eat at ?
3. Must see, must do in the Albuquerque area ?
4 Areas to stay out of ?
Thanks for all your help

Hotel in Albuquerque
Here%26#39;s some ideas...
1. With only 1 day, stay near Old Town. Best Western Rio Grande, Hotel Albuquerque are nice. Visit www.itsatrip.org for more info.
2. Little Anita%26#39;s is our favorite.
3. Old Town, Nob Hill, Petroglyph Nat Mon, museums, zoo, botanic gardens.
4. Not sure on where to stay away from. With only 1 day, you won%26#39;t have much time exploring all of Abq. Stick with the above places and be careful at night walking around alone. Locals will have more input.
Hotel in Albuquerque
Depending on the day, you might get into one of the b and b%26#39;s ( like Boettger Mansion ) for under $100. Otherwise the BW Rio Grande should fit your budget, and we%26#39;ve had a lot of friends stay there with NO roach reports! Hotel Albuquerque is also nice, you%26#39;d just have to check the rates.
We love Antiquity for upscale, Seasons for uppish scale, High Noon for steak, and Little Anita%26#39;s for New Mexican.
Any of ';those areas'; are well out of the tourist radar. Old Town itself is pretty quiet at night, save the Ghost Tour.
