Our family will be traveling to Arizona this summer and we are reasearching an overnight stop in the Albaquerque area (which fits our scheduled drive time estimates). Are there any recommendations for hotels in this area (or other nearby areas) that are decent? Thank you very much for any input!

I would hope you can spend at least a couple of hours in our historic Old Town area (Rio Grande Blvd. exit from I-40), and maybe visit one of the diverse museums nearby. The Albuquerque Museum offers a good historical look back through the ancient history of the Southwest, and your kids might enjoy the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science if they are into dinosaurs. It also has a planetarium, and IMAX theater. Both are adjacent to the NE corner of Old Town%26#39;s shops and restaurants on Mountain Road.
The Monterey Non-Smokers motel, Old Town Econo Lodge, Rio Grande Best Western, and the Hotel Albuquerque of Old Town are close by, with a range of prices. Enjoy your brief visit! Hopefully, you%26#39;ll want to come again.
