Driving in Taos Ski Valley with a 2WD SUV in March

We%26#39;re headed from Dallas to Taos Ski Valley for Spring Break (March 14-20). We%26#39;re driving a 2WD SUV (Toyota Sequoia) and staying in TSV. Under normal/usual conditions, will I be okay getting to TSV with my 2WD SUV? I don%26#39;t plan to do much driving once I%26#39;m there.

After a few weeks of heavy snowfall in Northern New Mexico%26#39;s ski areas, we are now having a long period of sunny days. In short, we can%26#39;t out-guess Mother Nature. By mid-March, the snows should be becoming less frequent, and your 2WD sufficient. But, that can always change quickly. All you can do is keep in touch with area, and local conditions before your departure from Dallas. Here are some sources.
