Taos Ski Valley vs. Durango Mountain Resort

My wife and I are planning on going skiing in February and we were considering going to Taos Ski Valley. This will only be my wife%26#39;s second time to ski and she was worried that Taos%26#39; greens would be to hard for her. Last year we went to Durango Mountain Resort, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how Taos Ski Valley compairs to Durango Mountain Resort?

Of course, the ';experience'; is the thing, but statistically they are very similar. At Taos, 24% (or approximately 27) of it%26#39;s 110 runs are designated Green, or Beginner; while 21 of Durango%26#39;s 80 runs are so defined.

Taos%26#39; fame perhaps, comes from its high number of challenging ';Expert'; runs.

Thanks for your responce, but I do have a fallow up question. From what I understand the greens at Taos are like blue%26#39;s at other resorts. So do you know if the greens at Taos are like the blue%26#39;s at Durango?
