Where is the best casino in New Mexico??

I found a list on a some web site. It is hard to tell what the casinos are like. We are not looking for Vegas, LOL!

Any gamblers out there to give advice?

We just like to go out to dinner and then play slots once in awhile. So a decent restaurant and a nice casino that gets new games regularly is what we would be interested in

I don%26#39;t go to casinos here, only in Vegas, lol.

We have a new one that just opened up north of Santa Fe called Buffalo Thunder. Decent restaurants and from what I have heard and lodging right there.

Also in northern Albuquerque is Sandia which has restaurants and hotel rooms also.

I have friends that like Santa Ana too.

Our Northern New Mexico casinos come in three sizes, large (connected with a resort, golf, major entertainers, etc.), medium, and small. Along with Buffalo Thunder, you%26#39;d probably include Sandia on the northern edge of Albuquerque, and Isleta just south of Albuquerque in the large catagory. Although a short distance from one another, also the fabulous Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa in Bernalillo, and neigboring Santa Ana Casino.

Being a big spender (1 cent and 5 cent slots, LOL), I%26#39;ve visited Buffalo Thunder once, and Sandia and Isleta twice each.

For ';luck';though, I%26#39;ve had my best results in five visits, at the ';medium sized,'; Santa Ana Casino. Maybe others have different experiences. Santa Ana is located just west of Bernalillo, which is 16 miles north of Albuquerque on I-25. All have good buffets. The larger ones have nice restaurants on site also. I%26#39;ve only eaten at Sandia%26#39;s restaurant, and was pleased...but if I%26#39;m visiting Albuquerque,(let alone live here) there are many other excellent choices, including El Pinto Restaurant, in the far-north Rio Grande River Valley of Albuquerque, only three or four miles west from Sandia, and maybe ten south of Santa Ana.
