Just be careful...

We pass through Cuba about once a month and we have had at least two ';scary'; occasions there. Both occurred at the Shell station in town which seems to be a busy hangout for people looking for a ride or trying to bum money. The station owners don%26#39;t seem to care as long as these people are not INSIDE the Shell station or the McDonalds which is attached there. We were approached by a very drunk local who tried to climb into the car with my husband (practically sitting on his lap). The second event happened as we were going inside to use the restroom and we were severely bantered for money to the point I thought the guy was going to take my purse. Needless to say, I don%26#39;t stop for gas in Cuba anymore and if we are hungry we stop at Subway where there is a lot less riff raff. I am a big city girl (from the Detroit area) and this really freaked me out how persistent and obnoxious they were.
