Spring break with teens-activities?

Taos area with teens in March-

we%26#39;ve done a lot of walking around Taos in summer, never winter. Activities like a movie theatre?

We%26#39;ll do some shopping in the funky places, but they don%26#39;t seem to go for much museum time.

Hoping the ski/boarding will cover most of it.

I might be careful about planning a trip to the movie theatre in Taos. During Spring Break the population of Taos doubles, while the theatre remains the same size.

You might want to get to the Theatre at least 30 minutes prior to the show to ensure that you have good seats and are all able to sit together.

You might also try the family/youth center http://www.taosyouth.com/ for ice skating, swimming, roller blading, and skateboarding.

Assuming that there will not be much snow down at this elevation, hiking will be great out at Wild Rivers Recreation area, and a lunch cookout might be fun. That is also a fantastic area for road bicycling, and there are at least 4 places in town that rent bicycles.
