Any locals with info on Adobe Tequila Rose Inn?

Heading to Taos over the 4th of July weekend. Never been to Taos but have list of things to do.... Just want advice on Tequila Rose Inn. We are staying there but have no information on location or accomidations. Will I regret my stay here? After doing some research, I probably would have booked another venue, but too late now. Thanks in advance for your thoughts or feedback!

How was your stay and visit to Taos? Tequila Rose Inn?

I have never written a review on Trip Advisor before. Thank G@d

%26gt; for the internet.

%26gt; Stay far far away. Staying at Tequila Rose will include

%26gt; cops, $200 in

%26gt; fraudulent charges, no keys, canceling credit cards, and a

%26gt; weird guy banging on

%26gt; your door every couple of hours looking for stuff to take.

%26gt;

%26gt;

%26gt; I stayed there last night. Basically the owner is this

%26gt; weird guy named JB and

%26gt; his wife. I%26#39;m pretty sure his wife does her@in or

%26gt; meth. Very skinny.

%26gt;

%26gt; Per JB, for some reason, after I rented the room, he

%26gt; decided he had to sit in

%26gt; the living room and talk to me for an hour. The whole time

%26gt; he kept talking

%26gt; about how he made 200k last year selling gold commodities.

%26gt; Weird.

%26gt;

%26gt; The key he gave me, and I kid you not, did not work. I had

%26gt; no way of locking

%26gt; my room. I went away for breakfast and came back and the

%26gt; money I laid on the

%26gt; table had been rifled through. Over the course of the next

%26gt; two hours he knocked

%26gt; on my doors three times and kept reiterating, ';I

%26gt; should stay.';

%26gt;

%26gt; When I wanted to leave the next morning, he came to my room

%26gt; with 2 VHS tapes

%26gt; and said I should sign my receipt as he charged my credit

%26gt; card for an extra

%26gt; night. That%26#39;s when the cops got involved. I explained

%26gt; to them that I had

%26gt; traveled for five years, staying at numerous hotels and

%26gt; have never had someone

%26gt; charge me for a night I did not expect to stay.

%26gt;

%26gt; The cops said they are brought over to his

%26gt; ';hotel'; all the time.

%26gt; Apparently he does this quite a bit.

%26gt;

%26gt; You%26#39;ve been warned.
