From time to time I just have to visit to see how long it takes for someone to ask if the user has the right las vegas! Keep up the responses!
I love this forum!Vegas NM vs. Vegas NV is passe-- earlier today I had to explain the difference between Los Algodones Mexico and Algodones NM. Next up should be Carlsbad CA vs. Carlsbad NM. My work is never done!
I love this forum!You mean there is more than one Las Vegas? Huh. But, how does one tell which is the ';right'; Las Vegas, and which is the ';wrong'; Las Vegas?
And people wonder why New Mexico is the only state that has to put USA on it%26#39;s license plates!
Also, no, you do not need a passport to visit Santa Fe. And, yes, it is safe to drink the water here.
Lastly, see how boring that cold, cloudy, drizzly Winter weather is in the Great Northwest! When you are so down for something to do, you have to check out the Las Vegas Forum (the right one)...you are bored beyond belief! :-)
Thanks for visiting though. We will all see one another through these difficult times. Your support is always appreciated, and Seattle is a beautiful city!
Seattle, Washington right? I thought so.
Hmmmmm. One mistaken identity I have yet to encounter is San Antonio TX vs. San Antonio NM. Well, once you%26#39;ve had the green chile cheeseburger at Manny%26#39;s Buckhorn Saloon I guess there%26#39;s no mistaking one place for the other!
Oh God Mitch, don%26#39;t even go there! (San Antonio). LOL!
Aside from the one in Texas (is there only one?). We already have: San Antonio, NM in Socorro County;
San Antonio, NM in Bernalillo County, on the Turquoise Trail; and believe it or not, a third San Antonio, NM in San Miguel County, NW of Las Vegas. (The NEW MEXICO one! LOL!) No wonder the stagecoach is always late with our mail!
You are right though, there is only one Buckhorn Green Chile Cheese Burger. Right?
We will now probably hear about all the other Buckhorn bars, restaurants, saloons, cantinas, cafes, and diners in New Mexico, that also serve green chile cheeseburgers!
Oh well. At least it helps us pass the short, Winter days. :-)
