are alamo still at the airport, hope so, we have a car booked for september, any one know?

I plugged September, and Albuquerque, into the Alamo reservation system, and they were still booking reservations here, so I presume they are still active. If they (or any of the car rental companies) were cutting back, I would think the smaller cities would be effected first, not a city of appoximately half-a-million population, which is also a major tourist destination with our Balloon Fiesta, and Santa Fe, and Taos in the area. But, who knows where this world-wide economy is headed?

Actually, Alamo is one of the most popular renters here, with Enterprise being #1. Dollar Rent a Car closed, but I believe it was taken over by Thrifty rentals.

If you confirm your reservations every couple of months, you should be fine.

thank%26#39;s for doing that for me, why did%26#39;nt i think of that!!! i panicked when i read that dollar had closed on this forum, we are booked through thomas cook so i suppose if anything changed they would inform us and rearrange, once again, thank%26#39;s a millon, fizz

There is an advantage to any rental company you rent from. They are all located adjacent to the airport in one facility, so, if all else fails, you have several to choose from.
