March 15-21

Any news on Nightlife/younger crowd for college spring break times? I have been going to this area all of my life, but only a few times in the winter, and was much younger. Obviously, there are not many bars, but what can you recommend for a group of 23-24 yr old texas hooligans? Also, what about day trips, we will be there for well over a week?

You%26#39;d probably want to drive over to Taos for some night life. Not that it%26#39;s a rocking town, but it is bigger than Angel Fire, and Eagle Nest.

Here is T/A%26#39;s Taos Nightlife page:

Hopefully, our Taos ';Experts'; will be able to provide you with more things to see and do. Be sure to get down to Santa Fe for at least one full day of site-seeing!

Funny how it seems Texas collegians head for the mountains, and skiing; and the mountain collegians head for Padre Island. :-) You hooligans have a great time!

yeah, the grass is always greener right (no pun intended)? I actually own a cabin in Eagles Nest, so I plan on staying there if weather doesn%26#39;t prevent my transportation up the mountain. I am hopeing that there will be some other spring breakers in the area, but what do you think would be a better spot, angelfire (seems to be better for snowboarders, which seems more catered towards my age group) or red river? I have a feeling when we walk into the bar we%26#39;re going to be the loudest group in the place, which gives me a little hope for attracting some women, but I would love to have some tips on the topic =P

Angel Fire and Red River have been seemingly going for the ';family'; trade in recent years...or someone will tell me I%26#39;m wrong...again! :-) I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll be alone for people your age on the slopes however. I know large numbers of Texas Tech students come over for Spring Break, just because it is so convenient to Lubbock.

Have you tried Zebadiah%26#39;s Restaurant and Bar at Angel Fire? Last I was there on a Saturday night, it seemed to have a pretty lively crowd. Now if you mix some Good ol%26#39;boys, with college boys, you might end up with some top notch hooliganism! Good thing you have safety in numbers!)

I envy you your cabin! I like to fish at Eagle Nest Lake when the ice goes off. Big trout!

Have a great time, and a safe trip.
