Where to stay? Old Santa Fe Inn or Las Palomas

My husband and I are going to Santa Fe for a conference and want to stay at a less expensive hotel than the one offered. Which we would we prefer Old Santa Fe Inn or Las Palomas. Those are the two closest to the other Hotel.

One is a small motel like place, the other a B%26amp;B. You may also want to look at Inn of the Governors and Hotel St Francis. Check your dates on www.santafe.org as well.

Thanks! Which one is closest to El Dorado Hotel? and do you know which one has the better beds?

I can%26#39;t tell you about the beds, have not stayed at either. Hopefully more people will chime in with experience.

Any of the hotels in the Plaza area are within walking distance to the Eldorado Hotel. I have heard excellent reviews of Inn of the Governors, and we love the restaurant there, $5 burgers and fries!!
